Ferrero is the big name among contemporary art dealers in Nice. He had the eye and the innovation to discover and bring recognition to the first exponents of the Nice school of art and the Fluxus movement. Nor has his reputation diminished over time. Ben, Arman, Tobiasse and Cesar, to name but a few of the more famous artists in his collection, are well represented in the Ferrero gallery. The shop, however, displays more modest works including jewellery and lithographs and you can acquire original items designed by prominent artists without breaking the bank. Perhaps you'll be lucky enough to buy a small piece by someone who, a few years from now, might turn out to be the new Cesar!
