Cantabria's most important collection of paintings are spread over three floors of this fine neoclassical building. You'll find 16th to 18th century Flemish and Italian works, 16th to 20th century Spanish works and sculpture dating from the 19th and 20th centuries as well as collections of coins, medals and stamps. There are regular temporary exhibitions throughout the year. The museum was established in 1908 and Leonardo Rucabado's building was classified as a heritage site in 1962. Admission: free.
