Stepping into this stadium is like walking back in time. With the famous Green Monster as the left field wall and a hand-operated score board, this is a unique piece of civic history. The building opened in 1912 and is now America's oldest baseball park. The structure has survived several fires over the years, but unfortunately, its replacement appears imminent. See it while you can. Those who cannot attend a Red Sox game can take one of the guided tours, available May through September. See the Web site or call for details.

  • A wonderful experince for any sports fan
  • The seats are small and painful if you are over 6 feet

“Take the T and stop by the Cask and Flagon or Boston Beer Works for a few before joining the Fenway faithful on a summer night. The ballpark is the smallest in the majors, but beware that there are bad seats (just look at the guy sitting behind the pole in the right field grandstands - I prefer the bleachers if you can't get Box seats or Monster seats). You are sure to have a good time.”

  • The tour of the park before the game was absolutely wonderful and very informative. I learned more in those 2 hours than I ever knew....
  • none

“For anyone going to Boston or to a game, the tour is a must. Not only was it filled with little facts no one knows but it was kid friendly. ( which we didn't have any with us) but there was enough to keep the group of kids occupied. The head of the tour was not only funny and a cut up but he presented his information with easy to learn terms and skill. For 10 bucks, it's the only tour worth it. Everyone should go at least once. We are actually going back tomorrow before the Celtics game!!”
