The RISD Museum224 Benefit Street, Providence, RITel: (401) 454-6500 Rhode Island School of Design, one of the country's leading art schools, has a museum to match. Located on Colonial Benefit Street, this museum traces the history of art from antiquity to the present day through more than 85,000 works of art from all over the world. There are also collections showing Providence's history as a manufacturing center for silver and jewelry. Exquisite art replica gift items can be found in the gift shop. Adult admission is USD6 and there are reduced fees for seniors, children and college students.
