Blithewold Mansion, Gardens & Arboretum

Blithewold is a favorite location for weddings in Rhode Island. Not only does it include a 45-room, early 20th-century mansion complete with porches and a view of Narragansett Bay, but also 33 acres of lovely, diverse gardens on the premises. Wander among exotic plants, roses and a water garden or loll by the sequoia and the small bamboo wood. Blithewold is about 25 minutes south of Providence on Route 114 in Bristol. Admission is USD5 to the garden; USD10 to see both the mansion and the gardens.
