Guggenheim Museum1071 Fifth Avenue, at 88th Street, New York City, NYTel: (212) 423-3500 • Web: Visit this site » The Guggenheim is admired as much for its architecture as its art. The building was designed by architect Frank Lloyd Wright. The bright white exterior and glass-domed interior combine to give the museum a modern, clean feel. Renovation work, undertaken in the early 1990s, added a 10-story tower; the extra space contains a sculpture collection and cafe overlooking Central Park. Exhibits include work by the impressionists Kadinsky, Paul Klee and Picasso. Admission is USD12 for adults, USD8 for seniors and students, and is free for children under 12.

“Some of the exhibits are different than I expected, spent a few minutes (time it took) to walk through the 'art' on the highest level. Couldn't get out of this one fast enough. Exhibits did improve in Quality as we made our way down.” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.Popular Attractions in New York CityView all attractions in New York City
