Come here on the day of Corpus Christi and the following Sunday during May or June to watch this lively and colourful village festival. Villagers enact the ancient struggle between good and evil. Those representing good dress in white and perform an increasingly frenetic ritual dance accompanied by rattles, castanets and tambourines. Those representing evil wear masks, dress in black with white bandanas and colourful accessories and run about attacking their opposites with wooden poles.
