Calle Santo TomeSanto Tomé, Toledo, SpainThis important medieval street in the historic part of the city has lots of narrow side-streets that lead off it into Christian or Jewish quarters. The street was widened between 1558 and 1569 to enable easier access and an increase in commercial activity. These days, it's lined with shops and cafes that attract a lot of tourists on their way to places such as the Plaza del Conde to visit the Palacio de Fuensalida or on their way down to the San Juan de los Reyes Monastery.
