This facility is home to more than 40 species of animals and is now officially the largest zoo in Nevada. Staffed by volunteers and supported by donations, this organization does a marvelous job displaying the animals in their natural habitat. Special tours and field trips are available to provide educational fun for young and old alike. See lions and Siberian tigers roaming, reptiles slithering, baboons swinging, and parrots and other birds putting on their high-flying antics. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, $3 for children aged 2-12. If the weather is questionable, call before you visit.

  • I liked this small zoo. It had a lot of interesting animals. Lions, panthers, goats, birds, you Name it.
  • Zoo was a little difficult to find, very small sign pointing the way. The lion cages seem small for such large animals.

“I went a couple of years ago (3, I think) and enjoyed it. It's not a large zoo and really won't take much more than an hour to see everything. The staff they were very friendly and knowledgeable and answered lots of questions. I even got to pet one of the baby animals born there. They do sell soda and some candy/snacks and gifts/t-shirts in a little store at reasonable prices.”

  • I liked the staff and how knowledgeable they were about the animals.
  • How small the tigers enclosure were.

“I love this zoo and I tell everyone about it and how much all the staff love the animals. I also tell my friends about how the zoo runs on all donations.”
