Casa-Museo Manuel de Falla

Antequeruela Alta, 11, Granada, Spain
Tel: +34 958 229 421

For 20 years the internationally famous composer lived and worked in this lovely old Moorish-style house in the Antequeruela district, on the eastern slopes of the Alhambra hill. It's fascinating to wander around the house that has been kept just as he left it before heading for exile in Argentina in 1939 to escape fascist Spain. You'll see the piano he used to compose some of his popular pieces, along with his books, manuscripts, photos and other personal items. Falla's work is always played during the International Festival of Music and Dance. The nearby concert hall, Auditorio Manuel de Falla, regularly puts on his work.
