A visitor's center provides information on area wildlife and flora, as well as Native American history. Rangers conduct guided hikes at no charge. Visitors may run across burros, big horn sheep or desert tortoises. The area provides prime hiking, rock climbing and mountain biking opportunities. Visitors may park at the entrance and hike or bicycle into the park at no charge.
