“Heard only about this place. Went early, around 5, but not necessary, to make sure of having a seat at 8 for. Enjoyed seeing all the guitars and knowing all those artists played there. Food was great. I went for the catfish with a side of red beans/rice. My friend got the Memphis BBQ. Both were generous portions and excellent value.”

“The ambience was cozy as well as historic. Coupled with the six piece rhythm and blues band, it was like stepping back into the past and reliving the blues era. Prices are most moderate and the service was excellent. Since this was our first official stop for our weekend in Memphis, it definitely set the tone for the rest of our tour. I had visited another restaurant on beale ST. Back in January, but it had served partially raw chicken wings. I wanted no more of that. I definitely made the right choice when I took my party to rum boogie cafe. The only criticism I have is this it is advertised as a cafe. Actually, it is much more than that. The small dance floor also was a treat for me and my daughter. We shall return!” Popular Attractions in MemphisView all attractions in Memphis
