In 1956, Phoenicians filled the grandstand shoulder to shoulder to welcome the first sports franchise in the Valley. Every year since, from October to May, locals and visitors alike herald the thoroughbred racing at this oasis. Located 14 miles north of Sky Harbor Airport, the course is in the extreme North Valley. Parking is available and costs USD1-3. Admission varies and runs from USD1 for seniors to USD4 for clubhouse admission. Groups of 10 or more may be arrange for reduced rates by calling +1 602 375 6478.
