Originally built in 1881, notable features include beautifully rendered stained glass windows and a carillon tower. Honored as a minor basilica in 1885 by Rome, this Catholic church is the oldest in the Valley. An historic visit by Pope John Paul II in 1987 brought this facility national attention. When visiting, please be respectful of this place of worship by maintaining appropriate behavior and attire. Admission is free.
