Opened in 1994, this field is home to the Texas Rangers baseball team. Located in Arlington, the ballpark offers several modern features, such as the 17,000-square-foot Legends of the Game Baseball Museum and the Rangers Walk of Fame, which spans the entire perimeter of the building. The 270-acre complex also includes a 12-acre lake, parks and recreation space, and a four-storey office building within the ballpark. The actual baseball field is 22 feet below street level and the park's seating capacity is more than 49,000. Regular season home game tickets range from USD5 to USD40. One-hour tours are organised.

  • Comfortable, clean, fun.
  • Access and egress can be slow, but who's in a hurry?

“This is a lovely ballpark. I don't particularly like baseball, but I love this ballpark. The seats are comfortable, there is a cup holder at each seat, you can bring your own food/drinks in (follow guidelines for types of containers--no glass or aluminum, coolers of specific sizes and materials), and plenty of women's toilets are available.

The staff keeps the bathrooms clean, and they are constantly checking and cleaning them. There are tables on the different levels where you can eat your munchies, if you don't want to eat them at your seat, or you just want a cooler break from the park. There are plenty of snack/food bars and the vendors go through the stands frequently.

The ticket office staff will help you get tickets in the shade (a must as far as I'm concerned!) and at the price range you desire. If you go directly to the ballpark, there will be tickets available for any but the most desired games, and you can buy them without paying any additional fees like you will via the net or telephone.

I love this ballpark!”
