Exchange Square
8 Connaught Place, Central, Hong Kong City, Hong KongAlthough nowhere near the tallest of the Central skyscrapers, this set of stripy towers is nevertheless quite distinctive. The waterfront location that attracted companies here in 1985, is somewhat compromised these days with major construction and reclamation going on right outside. Given the name, it is no surprise that the Square is home to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Further prestigious occupants include the American Club as well as some rather nifty sculptures in the outdoor cafe area. Art lovers will find a Henry Moore, a creation by Dame Elisabeth Frink and a little something by Ju Ming.
