2 Queens Road Central, Central, Hong Kong City, Hong KongSitting on the site of the former Hilton Hotel, this 70-floor structure may be somewhat uninspiring during the day, but at night it comes into its own. As the sun sets, a fully integrated computer controlled lighting system transforms the exterior into Hong Kong's biggest advertising board. Building owner Li Ka Shing used this feature to full advantage during the floatation of his 'tom.com' internet venture. Whilst punters were queuing several times round the block to submit stock application forms, 'tom.com' was emblazoned in huge neon letters on the Cheung Kong Center.
