Neal S. Blaisdell Center and the Waikiki Shell777 Ward Avenue, (Kapiolani Park), Honolulu, HIWhile the name might make one think of gas stations, this place is actually a shell-shaped structure that has nothing to do with petrol or quik-marts. It is part of the Blaisdell Center and is the regular venue for the popular Pleasant Hawaiian Hula Show (a free outdoor hula performance). The Shell is located at the foot of Diamond Head, in a picturesque garden setting. In addition to the regular hula performances, it hosts concerts, political rallies and even corporate parties.
