Hulopo'e Beach Park and Marine Preserve

Although it's one of the most popular destinations on Lana'i, this beach manages to retain its pristine appearance. It's a protected area, a designated marine preserve and a place of much natural beauty and underwater activity. Guests of nearby Manele Bay Hotel can enjoy beachwalks or picnics. This is also one of the few beaches on the island that can be reached by a two-wheel drive vehicle. Trilogy Charters and other sailing charter companies lead excursions to the beach on a regular basis. The marine preserve is also a favorite scuba dive destination.

- Lots of people but not crowded.
- It was all good.
“I was there in Jan96. You couldn't get me out of the ocean. It was fantastic. So many beautiful fish and corral. A great place to snorkel/dive. I recommend it highly.”
