“This is one of the best campgrounds we've ever been to. Hope to stay there again. .”

“This is an excellent park with a very friendly staff. My wife and I have been members for 4 years now and never had a bad comment about it. Laughing at myself when I see someone talking about the park shows its age and duck leavings on the park. To me people its camping. If you dont like trees and frown on wild life maybe you should camp indoors. Park is kept clean and bathrooms are well maintained on a regular basis during peak season. I have seen management about bend over backwards not just for us but every member I talk to. No bad comments here.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

“I have been a member for two years now, and my family and I are more than impressed with our membership. Not only do we use the campground when we feel like it, but we have been on two carnival cruises, Disney with the kids, and spent two weeks at lake of the Ozarks in Missouri through the coast to coast program. Just thought this would help, I noticed a couple negative reviews and it kind of made me chuckle, I havent experienced any problems like those. We love it!”

“We love this park. Yes it is old and the lake is quite discussing and the geese poop needs to be kept clean, but as far as for the children they have overall the best activities for all the kids on a regular basis. The people are very friendly and it is nice. We have been a member for the past 3 years, have camped at the other sister camps and we like Kalamazoo the best.” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.

“Nice quiet park but not well maintained. Camping rules not enforced. Rest rooms are not kept clean on a regular basis. Park shows it's age. Power supply not adequate to handle the amount of RV's that use the park. Promised improvements to the park are at a standstill. Park security is almost non-existent. I was able to drive through the park gate and park without any problem or gatekeeper contact.” 1 of 3 people found this review helpful.

“This is a pretty park. There are a lot of things to do while here. The pool is good even on the small size. The mini-golf is very good complete with water fountains. There's fishing, volleyball, a beach, a playground, game room and hiking trails. There is an expansion is progress and looks like many new sites will be added. The one downside is there is not a laundry facility available...” 4 of 4 people found this review helpful.

“For an east-snider, this campground is located in an excellent location. 2 hours to Chicago, 1 hour to warren sand dunes, 45 min to Holland, 20 min. To Kalamazoo, 2 miles to the Kalamazoo raceway and great area for fall color tours and wine tasting. The only complaint I have, is the campground is expanding, and I could not leave my camper in their storage this winter. I have used the facilities for week-end camping on the average of ten week-ends, along with two, fourteen day stays for the seven years we have been a member. Make sure you understand the terms of your membership; they have one year, three year, five year and lifetime memberships that are willable. Picture id is not a problem; you can get it taken anytime you visit the park. They allow additional family members to use your membership, and you can bring guests. Considering the cost for hotels with a pool. Playground and children's activities, I have definitely gotten my money's worth out of my membership.” 4 of 4 people found this review helpful.Popular Attractions in KalamazooView all attractions in Kalamazoo
