Yosemite National Park6494 N Blackstn Ave, Fresno, CATel: (559) 439-1123 Yosemite National Park embraces a spectacular tract of mountain-and-valley scenery in the Sierra Nevada, which was set aside as a national park in 1890. The park harbors a grand collection of waterfalls, meadows, and forests that include groves of giant sequoias, the world's largest living things. Highlights of the park include Yosemite Valley, and its high cliffs and waterfalls; Wawona's history center and historic hotel; the Mariposa Grove, which contains hundreds of ancient giant sequoias; Glacier Point's (summer-fall) spectacular view of Yosemite Valley and the high country; Tuolumne Meadows (summer-fall), a large sub alpine meadow surrounded by mountain peaks; and Hetch Hetchy, a reservoir in a valley considered a twin of Yosemite Valley.

“My husband and I went on a bus tour from San Francisco to go there in 2003. The glaciers and the waterfalls were wonderful. The view of nature at its finest. We had a great time. I wish we would of had more than 5 hours to see everything and said to ourselves if we ever go back we will stay overnight at a hotel close by so we can go back the next day. It was an experience we will never forget. ” 1 of 2 people found this review helpful.Popular Attractions in FresnoView all attractions in Fresno
