• Big campground good fishing.
• Dirty.

“My family has camped here over 40 years and it use to be 5 star, one of my favorite campgrounds. Now under new ownership the place has turned into a dump. The workers are idiots, they raise the rates every year, the bathrooms are always dirty now and showers only work half the time. The grounds are not kept up like they use to be.”

• You shouldn't go.
• Gangs and bad weather.

“It is horrible, the water stinks and is muddy most of the time more fun to stay in town, definitely not for anyone who doesn't like the outdoors.”

• Loved Kernville and the area.
• Hate to see a lovely campground go down hill like this.

“We used to vacation at River nook all the time. It is starting to look like a low class trailer park. The trailers and lots are not kept up, dog waste you need to step over, washer/dryers standing outside in lots, junk cars, you name it.”

• I like that you can go river rafting.
• There's not a lot of bathrooms.

“Rivernook is the best place in the whole world. There is so much to do and it is right next to the lake. It is so fun there and the drive is awesome. If you have not gone there yet you have to go. It the best!”

• Sites in proximity to river.
• Mosquitoes - a lot!

“It was a great place to tent camp. We got a site right on the river. They were friendly and all the showers worked quite well. Would definitely recommend. It's the only place my family camps in kern.”
