Dallas Arboretum
Jun 16, 2008 by Colleen from Baltimore, Maryland
Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • Variety of plants and trees.
  • Our time to spend there was limited.

“On a recent trip to Dallas, my niece and her husband took us to the Dallas Arboretum. It was one of the highlights of our trip! Anyone who loves to garden or just appreciates nature on display will find the arboretum a feast for the senses! My only regret was that I didn't have my camera with me! Everything from the gardens to the water features were well planned and executed---top notch!”

Dallas Heritage Village at Old City Park
Mar 25, 2008 by mary from fort worth
Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • There is nothing bad at this park.

“Old city park is a fun filled park with a lot of history and really good food that is old fashioned, and during charismas time they have puppet shows, more food, make your own candle and a lot more! If you want to have fun just go to old south park with your family to learn and have a great time!”

Smirnoff Music Centre
Jul 18, 2006 by Music Lover from Frisco, TX
Overall Rating: 7 User Rating Score: 7

  • Great bands/shows and good prices.
  • Security/smoking all over.

“We have been to Smirnoff Music Center in Dallas too many times to count. They get great acts, so it is hard to resist. However, security is sometimes a concern. It is a big place with a lot of open areas, so I think it is hard to patrol all spaces. Also people smoke (and often more than cigarettes) everywhere not just in the designated areas. If you are letting teens go there alone, talk to them about the fact that a lot of things are going on that they might not want to be a part of. You can avoid trouble and help is there if you need it, but sometimes you have to asked. As with any concert/open area, you need to be careful. ”
