Noahs Ark
Sep 5, 2009 by sarah from benton, il
Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • Everything!
  • Charging for tube rental at wave pools!

“This is the best water park ever! The price to get in is fair, there is no fee for parking and if you get there when it opens you can get on all the rides with hardly any wait at all. Very clean and well kept and also very kid friendly. They also have a very good variety of different slides and attractions some even dry. Best ever, highly recommend!”

Spring Brook
Feb 12, 2009 by J from Chicago
Overall Rating: 9 User Rating Score: 9

  • Amenities are great and bar is fun.
  • No water park built into the resort, this might be a positive for some though.

“We've been going to Springbrook for the past 8 years. The community has improved tremendously over the past 4 years, with the addition of great pools, a fun bar/lodge, a great restaurant and a decent 9 hole golf course. We love staying at Sprinbrook. We usually vacation with other families or couples and share a home. It's more fun from staying at the hotels or water parks. It's also a lot more space. The bar is fun too, with Karaoke every Saturday night. I also usually bring my road bike up with me as well, as there are countless miles of county roads to ride on with little to no traffic. The golf course is decent. The fairways are narrow, and if you're in the rough, your ball is usually swallowed up by the woods, but most of the holes are pretty easy (i.e. not a lot of dog legs or hazards). It's a good beginner-intermediate course. We typically head up twice a year, once in the summer and once in the winter. Cascade and Devil's Head are two ski resorts about 20 minutes away. So we'll ski in the winter. There are a lot of snowmobiler around too, but we haven't tried that yet, although there are trails leading right up to the resort. All in all, if you're going to go to the Dells, stay here. It's a gem.”

  • That the deer were loose.
  • Nothing really.

“It was the most funniest place we visited while there, it was inexpensive and the kids loved it! when I asked them what their favorite thing we seen was, all four kids said the Deer Park!!!! I have to admit it was a favorite of mine too!”

Bonanza Campground Inc
Aug 22, 2006 by Paul from Green Bay
Overall Rating: 2 User Rating Score: 2

  • Not much other than their good location on the strip.
  • Camp sites are right on top of each other, very little wooded area, horrible service.

“We arrived and were stuck between two seasonal campers, not bad except we were camping in one of their yards. When we got there there was a truck from one of the seasonal's in our site, his water and electric were also hooked up to our water and electric. We had to have the gentleman, who thankfully was nicer than the staff there, move his truck and disconnect the electric and water from our site. Our fire pit was located 2 feet from the fence, wood fence mind you, that surrounded our site; not exactly the safest spot for it. In general all the sites in this campground are right on top of each other, causing trailers with slide out's to be within feet, if not inches, of each other. When talking to the staff about the unsatisfactory "site" we were placed in they were very rude and insisted that we had no merit for our claims. I would never recommend this campground to anyone under any circumstances. ”
