- The theater itself.
- Parking.
“Most beautiful theater I have ever seen! My husband and I went to see Ron White a couple of years ago, and will be going again for the Robin Williams show on December 4, 2008. Will probably go again.”

Wildwood Trail

- Liked how it intertwines the winter gardens and Hoyt Arboretum.
- Back tracked, needs better markings at a couple of trail crossings.
“I very much enjoyed the trail, and loved how it winds through the different many types of gardens that Portland has. I would have ranked the trail higher, but as the previous post said parts of the trail werent marked very well and caused me to backtrack. Other than that its a very beautiful hike with intermediate slopes and hills, moss covered trees, with a nice cool breeze, not to mention the occasional flowing stream bringing peacefulness to the area.”

- Get better portions of meat at on your sandwich at subway.
“Should have known not to eat there when during the lunch rush hour there was nobody in front or back of me in line.”

Wildwood Trail

- Absolutely beautiful, lush environment.
- Not enough signs.
“If you like nature walks, then you will love this trail. It is 5 minutes by train from downtown. I headed from the zoo to the Japanese gardens. The whole walk took approximately a 1/2 hour. It was a bit difficult at first to get on the right path to the Japanese gardens. I did not have a trail book with me, and there were a number of forks in the path without signs. However, I asked one of the many joggers / dog walkers on the path for help and was soon going in the right direction. After 10 minutes, I was in a dewy paradise. I do not know whether it is technically a rain forest, but I couldn't tell the difference. It was the highlight of my trip to Portland.”

Council Crest Park

- The 40 mile loop forested foot-trail that is unique to Portland winds through Council Crest. Hop on and away you go ...
- Ahh, too many views??? Hard pressed to find a negative.
“I lived in the Portland Heights area for over a year - just below Council Crest. I often walked up to the top before going to work and/or after coming back home. It's a super fine area with fantastic views of St. Helens, Adams, Mt. Hood, the Coastal Range to the west and on a real clear day, one can see Mt. Rainer peeking around the edge of Mt. St. Helens. And yes, if its cloudy, you cant see much but the energy is there, none the less. For the unrban view, one gets a birds eye view of some of Portlands downtown city lights at night - there are no lights on the top within the park - this helps maintain clarity for night sights beyond. I've spent many a solitary moment up there with no one around. Security has never been a problem, although, always be prepared for the unexpected no matter where you are. The view of the Columbia as it rolls towards the Pacific is easily recognized. The confluance area of the Columbia and the Willamette River moving through Portland is also easily recognizable. BIG view, great area!”
