North Park Theatre
Oct 5, 2007 by Linda from Owen Sound Ontario
Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • Love the ceiling, the stained glass exit signs, and the ticket taker.
  • It's too perfect - someone will decide it needs restoring and wreck it!

“We love the North Park Theatre and go to see whatever the movie is, no matter what, every time we come to Buffalo (twice a year), just so that we can spend a couple of hours in this amazing old place. It is the best of Art Deco and hasn't been started up by some over-zealous restoration job. The painted ceiling is amazing and the stained glass exit signs - wow! The whole experience is enhanced by the little ticket booth at the front entrance, complete with the gentleman who always looks the part of a 1930's theatre. Here's hoping the North Park stays the same forever! See you in November, North Park!”

Recckios Lanes
Oct 17, 2006 by Susan from Hamburg, NY
Overall Rating: 2 User Rating Score: 2

  • Food is decent.
  • Nobody goes in there anymore.

“New bartenders are nasty and do not like being servers. I miss the old bartenders. Since they sold the business out of the family, it has really gone down the tubes.”

Dunn Tire Park
Aug 9, 2006 by Marsha from Castile, NY
Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • Cleanliness. Small town feel.
  • Major league feel.

“Great place to see a ball game and to enjoy good food. The place is always clean and every home game features some promotion. Pretty decent scoreboard. Prices are outstanding. I do not think there is a bad seat in the place.”
