Pines Plaza Bowling Lanes Inc
May 7, 2008 by Joe from Pittsburgh
Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • Clean, Bright, No Smoking, High Scoring.
  • Can be tough at time to get a lane.

“For those who want up-to-date info. on Pines Plaza Bowling Lanes, the renovations are complete and they have re-opened. The new lanes are very nice and the equipment works much better. Smoking is no longer permitted, which is fantastic. The new owner is very nice and the staff is friendly. They have some basic bar-type food (fries, provolone sticks, etc.), which are surprisingly good. It's really a nice, family-friendly place to be.”

Pittsburgh International Airport
Jun 17, 2007 by Matt from Grand Rapids
Overall Rating: 9 User Rating Score: 9

  • Great access, very easy to travel through, and went through the whole thing!
  • Some of the ceilings were having paint stripped off, and there were similar things like that.

“It's wonderful, its fun you have to ride a train to get to the main gates, but it isn't a hassle its fast its only a 2 minute ride so you don't have to sit and wait for one forever and you get there fast! Couldn't believe how many shops there were. I love exploring airports and Pittsburgh is one that I really enjoyed!”

Buhl Planetarium
Oct 24, 2006 by Katie from Pittsburgh
Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • Tons to do, very roomy!`
  • none

“We've been to the Children's Museum so many times. I think I've taken it for granted. I recently went to a nearby city's Children's Museum and it paled in comparison. I guess I didn't realize the gem that we have here in Pittsburgh. A family can easily spend a day and unlike other museums, there are activities for the children older than 6 as well. My girls have a hard time picking a favorite exhibit. We always enjoy Mr. Rogers Neighborhood, the plentiful art activities, the baby and toddler room, and the ultra-fun water play. Bring an extra set of clothes or a bathing suit! They get really wet. The best kept secret is downstairs in the theatre where the children can dress-up and act out plays on a full stage awesome! As a Mother of three, I have to say my favorite part is the extra-size cafeteria with ample seating. There is food available for purchase or you can bring your own. Either way it's very comfortable. Parking is ample and convenient. This place is great-come see for yourself!”

The Pittsburgh Children's Museum
Jun 15, 2006 by Jill from Pittsburgh
Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • NA
  • $9 to get in.

“My daughter loved the museum. Lots to do, even enough to keep an adult entertained. Would entertain older kids, too. Don't bring your kids in their Sunday best, however, there is a Water Play area where they can get pretty wet. ”
