76 Carriage Company
Aug 1, 2007 by Jenni from Philly

  • The history tours are awesome!
  • The company behind the scenes.

“Tours are awesome, history is great. You will learn something new each time you go, every driver is different and gives different tours. However, the conditions the horses live in are deplorable. The company has no regard for the law regulating the weather conditions in which horses can be on the streets, and the management in the company leaves something to be desired, and the drivers and barn staff are treated horribly and paid inadequately for the work they do. I do recommend the carriage tours, because they are fun and informative. I would not suggest working there.”

Lights of Liberty

  • A great over all show.
  • When the wind picks up it makes the show less fun.

“This show is a very important part of the historical aspects of the Philadelphia story, the lights of liberty show is the cherry to a wonderful time in historical Philadelphia, the show guides are friendly, informative, and full of energy. The head sets are small and very light weight, so I am not sure what other are referring to about being too big. It is a fun time that just adds to the already loaded historic old town Philadelphia. And my 10, and 14 year old children loved it.”

Philadelphia International Airport
Feb 14, 2007 by Jon from South Jersey
Overall Rating: 3 User Rating Score: 3

  • Location, variety of destinations.
  • Cosmetics, movement between concourses, security.

“As our home base airport, my family and I use Philadelphia int'l about twice a year. It's not the worst of the worst, but not really that great either. It always seems to be under construction, and many parts have a confusing layout. The, b, and c concourses and terminals are nice, and they contain an immense amount of shops. The problem is that all the low cost airlines are in d and e, which don't have a great selection of eateries, and are not in the best condition. It's hard to Navigate between concourses, and most of their security checkpoints only have 4 lanes. They added their current checkpoints post 9-11, and they are really just a section of the hallway blocked off with drywall. Never rented a car here and we never parked at their garage.”
