- Exhibits, layout.
- Misleading time of closure, very rude individual on golf cart.
“Let me start with the display. It was wonderful, however do not be deceived as we were. Closing is at 5:40 not 6:00. With 2-4 displays left at 5:40 the doors to the displays were locked and we were rudely told that is was basically our tough luck if we didn't see it all, but they we had to be out of the parking lot by 6:00 regardless of what we had missed. One of the exhibits we missed was the very one my grandson had been waiting for. Again, do not expect to be able to look until 6:00, you will be disappointed in a very unsociable way!”

- Civil War items, dishes, musical instruments, furniture, dolls and more.
- Not enough day light!
“We happened upon Har-Ber Village while staying at the World Mark Resort at Grand Lake. It is like no other place we had seen. 100 building filled with 19th century treasure. Any collectable you may thing of will be there in large numbers. Well worth the $2 or $3.00 admission! Allow 3-4 hours min.”

- The variety of exhibits, displays, historical buildings, and antiques is incredible.
- A little off the beaten path, but well marked if you pay attention.
“Like stepping back in time, Har Ber Village is a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of our busy lifestyles. Cool breezes from Grand Lake, ancient shade trees, and lovely gardens make this leisurely walking tour through America's past a most pleasant experience. Lots to look at, something for every age. If you enjoy history, antique browsing, and being out doors, you'll love Har Ber Village. Plan to spend a few hours at least, wear comfy shoes, grab a light jacket in spring or fall (just in case), pack a picnic or grab a bite to eat in nearby Grove. At Har Ber Village be prepared to "remember when....".”
