Overall Rating: 6
- It is very pretty.
- There may be too many reachable par 5's.
“This is one of the hardest courses in the Triangle. I gave the course a 6 in overall golf courses however in the triangle I would consider it one of the top four. The main thing about this course is that the first hole is fairly difficult. It is a downhill dogleg over water. The main difficulty with this hole is to not be too aggressive on the corner. River Ridge Gold course has a very good background. Most of the houses are close to the fairway and the grass is very pretty. The major holes are nos. 3, 10, and 16. This is the gold course to play if you are looking for something that is hard, but not a major course. ”
