• Great kid activities.
• Bad management.

“I've had the same experiences at ERM. We were first year seasonal and it should have been a red flag to me from the start when I couldn't get a call back from the owner for weeks on information on our seasonal spot. We received a bill on Friday with charges that were not told to us up front. We feel totally mislead on costs associated with a seasonal at ERM. As the previous review indicated, we feel nickel and dimmed to death at El Rancho. We pulled out on Saturday and will not recommend ERM to anyone.”

• Nice grounds.
• Poor management.

“I had been a seasonal camper at el rancho for approx 14 years. A very unpleasant experience. He played favorites. If you weren't on his "a" list or a relative of his, you were treated poorly. I donated money to have a fish cleaning house constructed in honor of a long time camper (as many other seasonal did as well) that died. El rancho kept the money and never built the fish cleaning house. Many of us were upset by this. He never had any of the docks in at the start of each year. He nickel and dimmed everyone to death with a ton of special fees. He never settled my account (and still owes me money) when I finally left. Just a bad, bad situation all the way around. I would never recommend this campground to anyone.”

• I loved that there were so many activities to do.
• I don't think there was anything I didn't like.

“I loved El Rancho Mananas! I go camping a lot of different places, but this was my favorite! there were so many things to do I was never board and the people there are so nice and helpful!”
