Children's Pool Beach

  • Sea life in their natural habitat.
  • Activists who don't want people there.

“We were very excited about going to this spot. Unfortunately, the experience was spoiled by a women yelling comments designed to get people to leave. Obviously a wacko activist, totally unfriendly and rude. Don't go.”

Scripps Memorial Hospital & Medical Research Center

  • The outcome was fine, as were the Managing Directors.
  • Just about everything else.

“Scripps Mercy Hospital, Hillcrest district in San Diego is the worst. You would do well to rid yourself of this abomination. The ER is filthy, street people are sleeping on gurneys, the washrooms are filthy, I encountered several instances of nursing care that bordered on the illegal, and no one seems to give a hoot. By a ER tech to my daughter: We don't allow people to stay overnight in the ER. Your mother can call you when her procedure is finished and you can come and pick her up. Never mind that I am not from San Diego and am there on vacation (some vacation, to encounter this lovely institution!) I have never, in my 68 years, been to such a charade of a hospital.”

  • Easy to access.
  • Full of devils and hate.

“Waste of resources.”

San Diego Mormon Temple

Overall Rating: 9 User Rating Score: 9

  • Peaceful environment for quiet reflection. Friendly guides on the grounds.
  • Only church members allowed inside structure.

“A totally unique structure. Worth a closer look. Just before sunset you get the glow of the lit rooms inside the windows and can still enjoy the details of the manicured grounds.”
