  • Nothing positive about this place.

“This place should be investigated as they neglect the patients and things are missing constantly. Manager was out of sight. I wonder when an inspection is going to be made.”

Pan American Hospital
Dec 17, 2007 by Carol from Boston, MA
Overall Rating: 1 User Rating Score: 1

  • The one nice nurse (who spoke English) who kept us calm and told us to stay inside the hospital for the night, but when it was day time to get an ok to travel and leave or go to another hospital ASAP.
  • Dirty, almost no English spoken, very dangerous outside after sunset, 100% absolute chaos because of a language barrier.

“If you are injured on a flight which lands in Miami and need medical assistance while a Miami international airport you probably will be taken directly to "Miami Metropolitan Hospital", formerly known as "Pan American Hospital". If you speak Spanish you may be ok, at least to understand what is going on once you arrive at the hospital. No one will speak English, or it will be very badly broken English if they try. Remember, this is your life/body youre dealing with and you might not know why they are pointing the x ray at your chest. Try to get stable and get out of this hospital. You'll probably need a note to get back on the plane from one of the doctors so be prepared to simply ask to be cleared to fly, after your stable, and get home to your real doc! .”
