Monterey Bay Whale Watching Cruises
Mar 26, 2006 by Lisa from Chico
Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • Knowledgeable staff, educational, an experience that will last a lifetime, a wonderful family outing.
  • Sometimes it can be very crowded.

“In the last six years, my family and I have boarded the boats of Monterey Bay Whale Watching Cruises at least eleven times and every trip has been unique and wonderful. We have seen everything from mother humpbacks breaching along side of their calf, mother orcas teaching their calf to hunt, gray whales migrating, tens of thousands of dolphins, blue whales so large you couldn't see the entire body at one time and a variety of other sea life too numerous to mention. Being out in the bay with a guide like Nancy Black and her staff has taught my children more than they could have ever learned in a classroom, it has given all of us a new respect for our oceans and brought us closer together. I consistently recommend Monterey Bay Whale Watching Cruises to friends and strangers alike and cannot say enough about the experiences we have had with them. If you can only do one thing while in the Monterey area, take advantage of this opportunity, it is worth every penny and then some.”

Sam's Fishing Fleet
Mar 24, 2006 by Beate from San Jose
Overall Rating: 9 User Rating Score: 9

  • Great rates, small boats.
  • The boats are also used for fishing trips.

“We have taken 6 trips with Sam's, all of them awesome. Prices are great, company is very family friendly, great wildlife and whale sightings on each trip. The only thing we don't like is that the boats are also used for fishing trips.”

Monterey Peninsula College
May 14, 2005 by June T . from Marina
Overall Rating: 9 User Rating Score: 9

  • Beautiful campus relaxed atmosphere
  • the rare bigoted teacher

“The Science department was excellent the teachers were caring and experts in teaching and note I attended over 30 years ago it must be wonderful now. I do keep in touch with children of my friends that attend now they have nothing for praise for the exceptional facility. Keep up the good work.”
