La Brea Tar Pits

Diana
from San Antonio
Overall Rating: 9
- Educational, interactive, economical.
- Excavation areas closed early.
“Very economical. Great for kids. Interactive. Would have liked the excavation sites to be opened later and tour guides to give outdoor tours.”

Los Angeles Zoo
Aug 8, 2006 by
Heather
from St. Louis
Overall Rating: 1
- None.
- A depressing experience.
“Most depressing Zoo I've ever seen. When you actually see an animal and not construction, it's kept in a older type zoo animal housing where people can scream and yell at the poor thing. Trash is everywhere, a dirty green stagnate water "river" in front of the lion habitat (as just one example), with trash thrown in it. I guess they are trying to fix it, but why do the animal attractions that are still open have to be so filthy? I know Los Angeles home to some of the wealthiest people in the world, but surely their must be someone in the city who would want a job cleaning? What a shame this place is.”

- Massage, facial, private bath.
- Parking.
“My girlfriend and I came to Hollywood to see the sites, and actually we were there, most impressed with this great little spa - Le Petite Retreat!!!! It's a great place to unwind, and the massages and facials are incredible -- but we especially loved the Champagne Bath For Two! ”

Le Petite Retreat Day Spa
May 20, 2006 by
Sylvia
from Beverly Hills
Overall Rating: 10
- Love the personal attention, the outdoor areas, quality of treatments.
- Parking a bit of a problem
“Though I live in Beverly Hills, me and my friends get much more personal (and better) facials & massages at this little spa, Le Petite Retreat! They live up to their 'rep, as they have also now added Eyelash Extensions (which I love). Plus, they have a great outdoor area for couples -- either couples massages or couples facials, right in the heart of Los Angeles. Don't miss This place!”
