Jewel City Bowl

- Fun for the whole family! Young, old, or in between!
- Everything was perfect! No negative feedback necessary!
“My family and I decided to have a fun family outing while visiting my parents in Glendale, CA, so we decided to go to Jewel City Bowl. We had the most fabulous time! My father, who is 74 years old, was bowling his heart out and so was my 6 year old son! We laughed a lot, took pictures and I was surprised at how delicious the food was! It was less expensive for us to have fun bowling & eating, rather than just going out for dinner. Plus it was so much more fun. I have been to many bowling centers around the country and this one is phenomenal!”

Kensington University

- Good study plan with good support.
- It was difficult doing all by phone and mail. Today it would be easier with computers.
“I had to do the core work that was expected of me in any University. I was given difficult work and provided a good professor who was able to answer any question I have regarding my work over the phone so that I would have a good understanding of the problem I had before going to the professor. I graduated with honors and have excelled in every place I have worked and I thank Kensington and the education they provided me back in the 1980's.”

Verdugo Hills Hospital
May 6, 2006 by
Jill
Overall Rating: 1
- Small easy to get from parking lot to hospital.
- Approximately 90% of the staff with whom I came into contact
“Being a small hospital, I thought Verdugo Hills would have a more intimate feel and helpful staff. Unfortunately, this was not the case. I am not a nurse and the only science training I have is a B.S. in Kinesiology, but this seemed to be more education than most of the nursing staff at this hospital. I found approximately 90% of the staff to be, there's no other word for it, miserable. These are not the type of people you want assisting you when you are lying in a bed and must rely on someone to take care of you. From now on, I will heed my doctor friends' advice and go to larger hospitals in the hopes that they attract more experienced, knowledgeable (and maybe even happier) staff. ”
