Bear Creek Golf Course
Mar 10, 2009 by Bob from Plymouth MA
Overall Rating: 5 User Rating Score: 5

  • Decent greens, consistent putting surfaces.
  • Not a memorable experience.

“If you are looking for an aesthetically pleasing experience, this is not the course for you. The actual playing surfaces (tees, fairways, greens) are fine, but they are in an unattractive setting. The holes are indistinct; there is no effort to frame the holes. Basically, it is eighteen decent golf holes dropped onto a few barren acres, with views of a few ugly buildings nearby. It is worth the price (49$/15$ for juniors), but having now played there, I would not go back. If you are someone who plans to play a lot of golf but is on a tight budget it is a good choice. But if you are visiting the Phoenix area and plan to play only once or twice, I would spring for a nicer venue.”

Bear Creek Golf Course
Mar 15, 2008 by Marv from Ballwin, MO
Overall Rating: 3 User Rating Score: 3

  • Good starter course for a Phoenix vacation.
  • Not up to the level of most area courses.

“Nicklaus design? Must have been Floyd Nicklaus. Very disappointing. Basic muni course. Not terrible but not up to usual Nicklaus designs.”
