Shocking Club
Dec 8, 2008 by Russkov
Overall Rating: 6 User Rating Score: 6

  • Good prices for students, nice club.
  • Music was too loud.

“A pretty good club, especially for foreign students who come on Fridays (10 Euro for 2 drinks). You'll have a good time. Just a small warning: the music is very loud. Much more than any other club I've been to. May be they turned the volume up too much that night, but 3 days later, my ears are still hurting. This has never happened before and I've been going to clubs for most of my adult life.”

Cimitero Monumentale
May 22, 2008 by Mary from Baton Rouge, LA
Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • Beautiful, peaceful.
  • A bit sad, but so gorgeous.

“I lived in Milan for a year, and to me this was hands-down the coolest place. My husband and I visited on a regular basis to admire the sculpture and architecture and to photograph. The place used to be closed on Mondays, so check the hours. There was ample free parking out front, which is almost unheard of in Milan. If I make it back to Milan again and have only two hours to spend, I would spend them both here.”

Brera Art Gallery
Feb 18, 2008 by Kate Proeber from Caledonia, WI - USA
Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • I have a new favorite Renaissance painter Carlo Crivelli.
  • It would be nice if US seniors were also granted no admission charge.

“This museum was recommended by an Italian woman I met at a bus stop when I asked her what I should be sure not to miss. Even though I had a little trouble finding it, it was worth the time. The museum was well laid out and easy to navigate. The staff was friendly and helpful. The art was amazing with one great master after another. Some of the paintings were monumental in size and I couldn't imagine working on a painting so large. In addition to the art there was a glass-walled room where you could observe conservators restoring works of art. There was no admission fee for European seniors.”
