Friendly knowledgeable guide - perfect English skills.
No real parking area - best to go by taxi and have them wait.

“Absolutely over the top! Drop dead beautiful and we had the place to ourselves along with a very friendly and knowledgeable guide. This is one of the best kept secret treasures in Mexico City.”

An interesting peek at how the very rich lived in mid-19th century Mexico City.
The administration is very visitor-unfriendly.

“This is a very interesting mansion with 19th century, over the top, decoration. It is greatly in need of TLC. By guided tour only - ours was in Spanish and very detailed.”

“Beautiful little chapel, very picturesque with the surrounding trees. My boyfriend took me here when we went to visit his family. Now I dream of us being married here someday.”
