Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • Well worth seeing. I especially loved the waterfalls.
  • Long drive if you try to cover it in one day.

“Outstanding scenery around the Ring of Kerry, view great if its not misty. Lakes, waterfalls, walks etc are out of this world. A must see for everyone. I just wish I had more time to spend there.”

If you like the outdoors its brilliant even if you dont like outside this will really get you going! Fantastic! I also like the way you have to do everything yourself like put the sheets on you bed organize the table for dinner clean up!”

Muckross House
Jun 1, 2006 by Kathleen from Dublin
Overall Rating: 8 User Rating Score: 8

  • The friendly welcome of the guide in Muck Ross House.
  • The touting of business by the men with horses and jaunting cars.

“I have visited many historical locations in Ireland not to mention worldwide and I have never encountered the friendship, personality and efficient of a guide in Muck Ross House named Patsy. Not alone was she working on reception on our arrival but we were also lucky enough to have her as our guide around this magnificent home. She spoke clearly and delivered the history of the building in a most friendly and competent manner. It is seldom one meets such a valuable member of staff these days and we were grateful to meet such a delightful young lady.”
